Application
Application – Oil and lubricants play a critical role in the operation of many types of heavy plant machinery like engines (gas, diesel, biogas), turbines, compressors, transformers, gearboxes and hydraulic systems. The FluidInspectIR® – Oil Condition Analyser is a portable and benchtop measurement system for oil condition monitoring that displays key oil degradation parameters in oil laboratory format and in conventional oil laboratory units making the data very easy to interpret.
How To Use – The 2-3ml oil sample is dispensed via a syringe into a flow-cell cuvette (Transmission) and the flow-cell placed into the analyser. The measurement is started from the software. After about 30s the measured parameters of the sample will be displayed. The user can add traffic light specification (green/yellow/red) limits to aid the interpretation of the results.

Product Description -The Oil Condition Portable Analyser uses Transmission MIR spectroscopy, correlated to the relevant standards, to extract the key oil degradation parameters of a process lubricant. The analyser is basically maintenance free being exclusively constructed from solid state dispersion elements, a black body infrared emitter and infrared sensor element. It is very robust and can be operated portably (battery powered) or benchtop (mains power). The Analyser is ran from a laptop with an easy-to-use control console.
