Spectrolytic and Oxford University Combine to develop World’s first In Capnography Systems
SPECTROLYTIC AND OXFORD UNIVERSITY COMBINE FOR GROUNDBREAKING ACHIEVEMENT.
Spectrolytic, together with Prof Phi Anh Phan and Prof Andrew D. Farmery from The University of Oxford, are proud to announce the development of the world’s first capnography sensor that offers simulatenous mainstream flow and mainstream concentration measurements.
This new generation of capnography sensor exhibits superior volumetric capnography capability compared to the traditional sidestream method.
The device significantly improves the accuracy and speed of monitoring the vital parameters of intubated patients in, for example, anaesthesia and assisted breathing.
Great result and team effort by combining Spectrolytic’s design competence with the medical and application expertise from the team in Oxford!
